Dr. Amy Bergin starts her maternity leave.......................So
We are so excited to share that Dr. Amy Bergin will be out for a while on maternity leave! Her last day in the office will be on Saturday, April 20th.
We told Dr. B, the last time she left us to have a baby she was never allowed to leave us again because we missed her terribly!.....but then we met the baby... and we fell in love! And all was forgiven. Pretty soon our questions became, "Soooooo...When will you have another one??" Well, here comes Baby Bergin #2! We will keep you all posted! :) |
...... Welcome back Dr. Wendy Buhrmaster!
We are also pleased to welcome back the addition of Dr. Wendy Buhrmaster to our staff!
She is a graduate from Michigan State University with her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine in 1985. Whenever any of our doctors have been out for an extended amount of time, Dr. Buhrmaster has always been gracious enough to help us out. We know you will appreciate her calm and friendly demeanor, as her love for animals shines through to every pet she sees! She is truly a wonderful addition to the Homestead team and we are happy to have her back in the office! |

Pamela Nelson, DVM
Dr. Nelson graduated from Cornell University's Agriculture College with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1980, and received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the New York State College of Veterinary Medicine at
Cornell University in 1984.
She founded Homestead Animal Hospital in 1995!
Deborah Ellinger, VMD
Dr. Ellinger graduated from Indiana University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. She obtained her VMD degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine in Philadelphia in 1982. Along with dogs and cats, she also enjoys treating rabbits, guinea pigs and other 'pocket pets.'
Amy Bergin, DVM
Dr. Bergin received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Cornell University's College of Veterinary Medicine in 2002. Between her undergraduate degree, also received at Cornell University, and her veterinary degree, she also earned a Master's degree in Entomology at Pennsylvania State University.
Dr. Nelson graduated from Cornell University's Agriculture College with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1980, and received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the New York State College of Veterinary Medicine at
Cornell University in 1984.
