We welcome you to our hospital and appreciate the opportunity to provide you with veterinary services! Homestead Animal Hospital was founded in 1995 by Dr. Pamela Nelson. We started out as a small clinic, set in the country, with an impressive staff of only a few people! Thanks to our dedicated clients and advances in modern medicine, we eventually outgrew our smaller clinic and moved 2 miles away to our new facility that was built in 2007. (Be sure to check out our photo gallery page!)

We pride ourselves on our professional capability, outstanding medical care, and excellent customer service. Our love for animals has led us to create a compassionate environment, with knowledgeable staff to help make your experience here at Homestead an enjoyable one. We treat your pets with the same love and attention that we give to our own. Again, thank you for taking the time to learn more about us. We look forward to providing you and your furry family members with many years of quality care!

If you have found a problem that could potentially be an emergency, but you are not sure it needs immediate attention, we provide an after-hours call-back service. Sometimes home care is all that is needed to "tide you over" until the next day when you can schedule an appointment to be evaluated by the doctor. This callback service is provided until 10 pm, as this covers most problems that fall into this category. If your phone will not accept calls from an unlisted or private number, or if you have the caller ID function, you must turn this function off by pressing *87 in order for the doctor to return an after-hours  call. You may turn this function back on later by pressing *77. Thank you!
